It's officially summer! Warmer weather, backyard barbeques, patio rooftops and hanging out by the lake. It's been smelling so good outside also, neighbors are lighting bonfires and everything just feels fresh and new. While it's been a fast transition into this season here in Minnesota, I can't complain since it's so much better then being cold. These songs above are just some of the jams that I'm looking forward to blasting in my car and in my bedroom. You may notice this is a completely random playlist, but it's all the songs I've been loving lately and for awhile now. If you have Spotify, go listen to it here! Kick back and enjoy!

I'm on the hunt right now. The hunt for the perfect birthday dress. Normally I wouldn't want something super special for another birthday party, but since I'm turning 25 this year I wanted to spruce myself up. It's really creepy and odd to say that I'm actually going to be a quarter of a century old. But I will not delve into that shit storm of how I don't think I've accomplished as much as I should've by this age..... Anyways! One of these six dresses is in the running to be the special one that I wear for my celebration. Now I just have to decide how to budget it in and which one is the cutest!

Which one would you pick?!

Once I heard that Dazzling Blue was an official color for spring 2014, I had to focus a color post on it. This blue isn't just a normal blue, it's a rich color that can really be paired with anything. It's bold and a wonderful accent to a neutral color tone. It's warm and inviting and should be great to wear this season!

It's finally Friday and I am all ready to relax this weekend and enjoy spending time outside. Swimming pools will be opening up in a couple weeks, and I am a little excited because I think I'm ready to brave wearing a swimsuit in public again. I've always been super apprehensive about wearing something that clings to the body so easily, but I think that I only live once so I might as well be wearing something cute. Sites like ModCloth, H&M and Wallis Fashion are now all catering to the plus size market and it really helps boost morale within the community. Not only are they making these suits flattering, but they're mixing colors and prints that can accentuate your curves the right way. These are just some of the suits I found that really stood out to me, and I'm definitely thinking of purchasing one of them for the upcoming swim season. Why not take a leap and step out of my comfort zone? At least I'll feel a little beautiful while doing so. Which one of these suits would you pick? I'm feeling the lemon one, most definitely. Have a good Memorial Day weekend!

I'm always on the look for a low-key fashion house that has stunning lookbooks for each season. Miss Moss is a great source of inspiration to look at when it comes to finding these, and so in discovering this one I was quite happy! Kolonaki is a Spanish brand that is a way of life for the two designers, Paloma and Teresa, and has been successful with feminine silhouettes and drapery. These looks from their Summer 2014 lookbook are just some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Happy Monday everyone! I'm looking forward to this week and I hope you all are also. Good things come to those who wait, right? Sometimes beautiful weather just makes everything brighter, I just hope it stays that way for awhile. I'll be doing productive things this week including: doing some facial and cuticle care, walking around the lake with my dog, cleaning up my car and much more. Here's to getting s*** done, and some links to get you pumped to some of your own.

Blake Lively is just a ray of sunshine. Her Cannes looks have been classy and sophisticated, and her arm candy isn't too bad either.

This lovely lookbook I found at Honey Kennedy! Kolonaki is a Spanish brand that has some gorgeous outfits and impeccable style. They only ship to the U.K. and Europe though, so we can only enjoy from afar.

Shannon Saunders does a chill-inducing cover of Kodaline's "All I Want" inside of a cathedral, and it's just the best. Just the best.

Rifle Paper Co. came out with some insanely gorgeous wrapping paper that has all the different cities of the world. I see London, I see France!

I don't know why I hadn't heard about this game before, since I'm such a visual person and I love a good graphics game, but Child of Light snuck behind me and took my breath. While I don't have a game console to play it on, YouTube has provided me with some epic gameplay and I definitely am considering buying a PlayStation just for this.

Oscar de la Renta, Resort 2015. 'Nough said.

Saturday night was epic in regards to what went into my stomach. My friend Serena invited me to go out for a drink and appetizer, and we found this great pizza place on 50th & France in Edina. Mozza Mia is a pizza and mozzarella bar that is to die for. I felt like I was in New York eating what we had, I highly recommend it if you live in the area. YUM! Obviously I had to IG what we ate also....

Ms. Dylan is looking absolutely beautiful in her 'Sail With Me' post! Sartorial Spice is a fun outfit/beauty/lifestyle blog that you should all check out. Those anchor pants though!

Crossing my fingers that I will receive this Kate Spade Saturday handbag for my 25th! It's just so me.

What I Love: EARGASM | LOVING | COVETING (2) | FANCY TREATS

Not only does this month host many birthdays and celebrations for people I know, but it also happens to be a great transition period between spring and summer. This means summer blockbusters, new music, updating your wardrobe and dining on delectable treats. Here are just a few things I'm loving and looking forward to for May. Enjoy!

Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you that I never wear heels, it's just something I've never done or probably ever will do. For someone who is 5'8", I feel like an off centered giant who will topple over the minute my feet touch the ground. Also, if I wear any type of heel my feet end up getting extremely uncomfortable quickly if I even just walk around the house in them. I am and always will be a flats type of girl, and I'm very content with that. They are my staple item, my go-to accessory and so much more. They never let me down because I'm literally already on the ground in them. So my want of the week is the lovely version of this type of footwear, the pointed flat.. These fancy top tappers are super feminine, and can elongate your legs the minute you put them on. I've chosen a range of colors, prices and patterns that any girl can wear. My favorite on this list are the J.Crew: Audrey Suede Point-Toe Flats, because seriously how cute are they?!

I figured I haven't done one of these in awhile, literally not since last October with Vanessa Hudgens, and decided that it was time to share a favorite fashion icon of mine at the moment. Emma Stone has been killing it lately with all of her press events and appearances for 'The Amazing Spiderman: 2'! She's been around the world since the beginning of April promoting this great movie and she's been rocking literally almost every outfit that's been at a photo call or red carpet. These looks above are just some of my top looks as they play so well into her unique style and flawlessness! What I wouldn't give to raid her closet right now. She just recently took my breath away with her gown at the Met Gala on Monday, I mean what a show stopper, and I love the fish-tail braid. (P.S. check out my Twitter and Instagram for a recap of other looks I loved the most at the event!) Emma is someone I personally look up to, not only with her fashion sense, but with her sense of humor and individuality which is why she's my style icon of May!

What's your favorite look you've seen Emma wear?!

Mother's Day is right around the corner so I thought I would keep up with the tradition of doing gift guides and share some unique and fun ideas. These ideas come from personal suggestions and from other inspirations I've seen while shopping on different sites. My mother has been currently on the hunt for a necklace that she can wear to work, and that isn't too flashy to wear in a library. The pearl strand necklace from J.Crew is obviously a go-to choice... Other ideas that are particularly my favorite is the 'Pretty Little Things' set from Plum Pretty Sugar, and the recipe box from Furbish Studio! All of these would make great choices for mom, so make sure to spoil her on the special day. xoxo

I'm really excited to share and talk about today's post! I was recently approached by DUO Shoes to take part of a competition called 'From Day to Night' where I have to style two outfits that could easily transition with the same pair of shoes. With so many options to choose from, I had to go with my gut and choose a pair that I knew I would wear pretty much all the time. The ones that stuck out to me the most were these adorable Zola sandals, that were already styled perfectly on their website! The other great part of these sandals is that they do come in a wider width, so after that, I knew I had to get them! Then it was onto the mission I needed to complete, but what would I want to wear the most in this challenge? Where would I wear these sandals where I could easily transition into both situations?

OUTFIT #1: Blazer: Forever21 (old) | Blouse: H&M | Tank: Old Navy | Denim: Old Navy | Necklace: Old Navy (store only) | Bag: Urban Outfitters (old)

The first outfit is something I would wear to work, out with friends, or some place casual. I love pairing denim with a nice blazer, and then having a neutral color underneath. I'm all about basics, so this outfit is something I would wear a lot. I think the sandals compliment it nicely and they make the outfit youthful!

OUTFIT # 2: Cardigan: Target | Dress: H&M (store only) | Necklace: Old Navy (store only) | Bag: Urban Outfitters (old)

The second outfit is one of my favorites. I just purchased this gorgeous floral dress from H&M for Easter, and thought it'd be great to showcase it in this challenge. I will definitely be wearing this dress a few times this spring/summer, since it's super comfortable and is very flattering on my body. I think it pairs nicely with the sandals too and spices them up a little bit.

I just want to say thanks to DUO for reaching out and giving me the opportunity to be apart of this challenge, it was a lot of fun and I love the sandals so much. If you haven't heard of DUO, go check them out on FacebookPinterest and Twitter! Make sure to let me know if you happen to purchase a pair, I'd love to see what you get.

P.S. Thanks to my sister, Melissa, for taking these photos. You were VERY helpful.

Mostly Lisa
