This playlist is a compilation of songs that remind me of the season, new songs that are constantly playing in my head lately and the type of songs that you want to blast in the car. It's the oddest mix of songs I've put together, but it's going to be played all spring long. Listen along here, and follow me!

OUTFIT: Medium Wash Chambray Shirt (similar) | J.Crew Statement Necklace (similar) | Mesh Prom Skirt (similar) | Toile Clutch (similar) | Studded Mini-Heel (similar)

It might be five months since I purchased this skirt from SimplyBe, but I thought it was time to finally put together an outfit for my Fashion Friday series! I had posted a photo on IG when I first received it, and they posted it on theirs! What I love about this skirt is that it can be transitioned into spring if you wear the right type of accessories and/or top with it. I've been debating on what I wanted to pair it with for awhile now, but I think this chambray top from Old Navy does quite the trick. The J.Crew necklace that I've worn practically everything, goes beautifully with it also and adds just the right amount of sparkle to the outfit.

The sun has been shining on and off for the past couple weeks, but it's inspired me to try new things and take on new risks. It's crazy to think of how much your style can change over time, and mine has definitely grown and taken new turns. It's hard to put my finger on what type of style I have, and I've talked about this before but it's all over the place. If you could answer this question for me, what would you say? I'd honestly be intrigued as to what you'd say, because it'd be a lot of fun to define it when someone asks.

Other than trying to decipher what my style is, life has been pretty normal lately. I'm still in transition to finding that perfect dream job for myself, and it's probably the hardest thing I've ever faced. I've never applied to so many different positions and opportunities before, but they've all turned out negative. It's also probably the most draining thing I've ever experienced because of that, and I've gone through and live with depression. What is my college degree worth if I am not able to be in a career that I thoroughly enjoy and am so passionate about? There are a lot of times I want to give up, but luckily I have people who listen to my problems and care so that I don't. I guess we'll see what happens in the next year, so cross your fingers for me!!

Mr. Postman delivered this Influenster Hello Products VoxBox to my doorstep last week, and I'm so excited to finally review it for all of you. If you aren't familiar with Influenster, it's pretty much an online community where anyone can share experiences and reviews of products. Based on your 'status,' you can be picked to review certain products after filling out a survey! It's a lot of fun, and this my second official VoxBox I received. You can share your opinions whether they are good or bad, to an audience that is willing to listen.

Here is what this VoxBox contained:
- Meet Your New Squeeze: Two bottles of naturally friendly anti-cavity toothpaste. Pink grapefruit and mojito mint. Out of the two I really enjoyed the mojito mint, as it's something I'm already used to and it wasn't overwhelming. The pink grapefruit wasn't too bad, but it left a weird aftertaste. RATING: 8/10
-A Spray of Sunshine: Two bottles of naturally friendly breath sprays. Supermint and pink grapefruit mint. Out of the two I really enjoyed the pink grapefruit mint, it left a really fun aftertaste. Both of them though are something I would recommend, as they freshened my breath right away. I'll be popping both of them in my purse to have on hand. RATING: 10/10
-Handle with Care: One toothbrush made with 50% recycled materials. I definitely appreciate something that is made of reused materials, so I'll be keeping this toothbrush for awhile. It felt really nice on my teeth, and didn't hurt my gums at all. The one negative is that it does not have grips on the handle, so it's hard to keep straight when brushing.  RATING: 9/10
-$1 Off Coupon: Thanks, Influenster + hello Products!

If you haven't requested an invite (IT'S FREE) to Influenster, what are you waiting for?
*DISCLAIMER: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. No compensation was received.

Here are few links to get your week started!
  • Do you love Disney? Do you like to drink? Well, I have the perfect mix of both for you in the form of a YouTube series called #DrunkDisney! Performed by the great trio of Practical Folks, this series follows them as they go through each era of Disney movies and drink to a particular game for that week. They just hosted a live stream for Lilo & Stitch a couple weeks ago, and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! They want to do another one, but need more subscribers! So I recommend going to check them out, and click that button after you watch one of their videos.
  • This piece above by Lang Leav is speaking to me on so many levels.
  • Do you think this dress is worth paying $63 for? I'm so torn on whether or not I should purchase it because it's so beautiful, but I don't want to pay that much money. I'm hoping it will go on sale soon!
  • Anybody else watching Younger on TVLand? I'm obsessed with it, and we're only 4 episodes in! It's so refreshing, I can relate to it a lot and Sutton Foster has PERFECT comedic timing.
  • How to Make the Most of Your Space by Caroline Wilder of The Everygirl
  • This Kate Spade tote is super cute and it's 33% off!
  • John Krasinski lip-synching to N*SYNC? My heart can't take it!
  • Binge Reading Disorder by Nikkitha Bakshani of The Morning News. A very good, and true, read!
  • At Home With article by This Is Glamorous. Holy wow, those photos. Can I live there?
  • This has been my jam lately.
  • A must buy: My Drunk Kitchen by Hannah Hart

People often ask me what type of style I have, and I don't really know how to answer it all the time. It's truly all over the place because I really enjoy basics and being comfortable, but if I can pull of something risky I will try it. This then makes styles I admire change all the time, and it's no different for this month. After seeing her outfit at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards and all the praise it's getting,  I HAD to name Holland Roden my Style Icon for the month! I'm naming her that because she does take risks, and they pay off more often than naught.

Best know for her portrayal of Lydia Martin on 'Teen Wolf', Holland's style in and out of the show has evolved over the past few years. Her stylist, Karen Raphael, has a lot to do with that and is a huge impact on her outfit choices. Not only do I want everything in her wardrobe, but it's also super accessible for everyone to be able to. Here are my top 10 looks she's worn, and yes, her most recent one is in here! So. much. inspiration.
1. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week - Day 7.... because that green, the lip color and her skin tone? Flawless.
2. 2015 MTV Movie Awards... The collar is so perfect with this dress, and I adore the pop of blue.
3. Just Jared's Homecoming Dance... The skirt is what makes this outfit for me.
4. "Deliver Use From Evil" NYC Screening... The proper way to do a red dress with red hair.
5. boohoo.com Hosts Private Event At Hyde Lounge For Beyonce Concert.. This is so my style.
6. 2013 MTV Movie Awards.. Reminds me of Audrey Hepburn a little.
7. Philosophy By Natalie Ratabesi - Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2014.. Adore that collar.
8. 5th Annual ELLE Women In Music Celebration... What a beautiful floral.
9.  Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week - DKNY Women Show.. That blue blazer is EVERYTHING!
10. Tyler Shields Debuts MOUTHFUL... It's just so perfect!

Whether it's a fashion staple, something you want to try for the first time, or it's just perfect for the season there's always going to be something you need for a certain period of time. These ten styles are things I know I would need in my wardrobe, like the perfect dress for a wedding or a pair of flats that I can wear every day. Lighter fabrics and colors make for the perfect transition from winter to spring, and eventually into summer. All of these are my current must-haves for spring 2015, and they're all budget friendly!

1. The perfect fit-and-flare dress

2. Strappy flats

3. Dare to show your ankles
4. That midi though

5. A lightweight jacket

6. My BFF is my satchel

7. Hey, Mr. Chambray

8. Make a statement

9. Button me up

10. Say what you mean

What is one of your must-haves for spring?! Any of these? Let me know in the comments.

To be honest, I've been lacking all motivation to post lately. There's not been a lot of inspiration hitting me, no new subjects or things have been going on for me to come up with new content. How are you guys doing with posting new things? I hope a lot better than me, and if you can leave me any resources in the comments below on articles or ways to get your inspiration back, please do! Today's simple post is an outfit I'd wear this weekend, if I had any of these things in my wardrobe. May I have all of these, please?!
