There's definitely more than one thing to smile about today! Not only are a day away from Thanksgiving, but TODAY is the #mostlylisagiftguide giveaway launch! I thought it'd be so perfectly fitting to have it be on the day where the gifts I found are for an extra special person. The BFF, the person you can confide in and the person who almost knows you more than your own family does. I feel super special on saying that I can count five people as my best friends, and they all mean the world to me. Keeping those beautiful people in mind, the gifts I came across were generally for women and so much fun to look for. These are people you'd definitely want to spoil this year, so the budget is casually thrown out the window.
So let's get down to it! The second Mostly Lisa Holiday Gift Guide giveaway is now live, and ready for YOU to join. I've been counting down to this for the last week with the gift guides, sneak peeks at the gifts I'm giving away and other promos for you to enjoy. Want to know the deets on the giveway? Let me fill you in then! There are five gifts (plus a surprise extra gift) that ONE person is going to win, and it's just in time for the holiday season. It's going on until Nov. 28th, and the winner will be contacted in 48 hours after they are chosen! The contest is entirely through Instagram, but I wanted to give you other chances to win in the form below! It will also be easier for me to choose a random winner when the times comes to it. Good luck everyone!

Today's gift guide is about the tiny little people in our lives that are by far the EASIEST to shop for. There were so many cute + unique ideas that I found for baby, toddler and pre-teen that I literally wanted to do two different guides to include all of them. I'm pretty happy with what I came up with though, and I hope you are too! By far the best place to look for kids gifts is at J.Crew or GapKids, since they are always on trend with the latest in kids fashion and accessories. The gift that stands out the most to me in this guide is the Glitter Pizza Slice Bag from J.Crew! I, myself, would use and wear this in a HEARTBEAT if I had the chance. I also really love the Bunny Ballerina Doll from Pottery Barn Kids, it's so adorable and perfect for any age that still enjoys playing with stuffed animals. So make sure to shop all the links above, and let me know what you'd get your kids this year!

As it always happens during my gift guide series, finding ideas for guys seems to be the hardest thing to do. You either find just what you're looking for, or you don't find anything that is remotely interesting. This gift guide was supposed to go up yesterday, but I had some difficulties finding items that would be different from what I've previously done. I'm pretty proud though of what I found, and each gift idea is something I would give to any guy in my life. This time around, it doesn't have to be last minute for him because there are some pretty unique gifts out there this year. The absolutely favorite of mine in this guide is the Gentleman's Writing Set from Anthropologie! An online exclusive from the British brand, Chase & Wonder, this gorgeous hand-printed box comes with hand-pressed writing sheets and fifteen matching envelopes. How amazing is that?

Let me know what you'd get your special guy this year! I'd love any recommendations that I might not have come across while looking over and over. Also, if you saw yesterday on my Instagram, I gave a little preview of one of the gifts that will be apart of the #mostlylisagiftguide giveaway! There will be special previews until the giveaway goes live next week, make sure to keep a lookout!

Hear ye, hear ye! The third annual Mostly Lisa Gift Guide series is here for your enjoyment, and is chock full of gift ideas for that special gal in your life. She is so important that you're willing to go above and beyond to make her holidays extra magical, and whether she is 15 or 50, she will be sure to enjoy any one of these unique ideas. If your lady likes to be super romantic, a little quirky or into the basics, I've got you covered! Out of all of these items, my favorite has to be the Pizza Bralette from Bones Lingerie. It speaks to me on all kinds of levels, and even comes as a set with high-waisted underwear. What makes it even better? April, the owner, makes these custom lingerie sets by herself in Los Angeles. If you have a favorite fabric or need a change, she'll do it for you no questions asked! Shop all the links above, and let me know what you would choose for the lady in your life!
I am VERY excited for you all to be here, and hope you enjoy this year's Gift Guide series. There will be a total of seven of these, and on the last one I will be hosting a giveaway! It will be the biggest giveaway I've ever done, with a total of 5 gifts for one person. Make sure to tell your friends, family, coworkers and anyone who would be interested. The contest is going to be run on Mostly Lisa and my Instagram, so make sure to check in as the last Gift Guide approaches next Wednesday! xoxo

We've only just begun November, but we're bound to begin talking about what next month is going to bring. December is sure to be a fun time with magazine publications, lookbooks and retail storefronts starting to decorate for the holiday season. Working at the Mall of America, I get to see A LOT of these changes as they happen and it's so much fun to be able to see each brand do something unique. J.Crew is one of them, and when I heard that they went to Ireland for their December Style Guide? I gasped with love, and instantly had to pick it up in store. How amazing would this be? To go to such a beautiful country, style with beautiful clothes and be shooting for such a fun month! It sounds like a dream, and these photos are definitely proof of that. Enjoy, and have a great weekend!

Here are some links to brighten your Monday!
  • The QUEEN has come back into our lives! Adele performed her new song, "Hello" for the first time a few days ago!
  • If you follow me on social, you might have seen a little question floating around. I'm in the process of starting my Holiday Gift Guide, and I want to know what YOU think I should put in the giveaway I'm doing. Look out on Wednesday for a sneak peek at who I will be gifting this year.
  • The new Japanese Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is all kinds of chill-inducing!
  •  Look at this Princess dress from ModCloth! Wowza.
  • Just found out I might be able to get a new laptop for the holidays, and I'm so excited! I've been looking at this HP Laptop in blue!
  • Nowhere near being in the holiday spirit, but these Gilded Leaves String Lights are so pretty!
  • If you've never watched a Kristen Leanne video, I highly recommend starting with this one. It's about owning and purchasing Cruelty Free makeup from your local drugstores. This is really beneficial, and is a great way to incorporate doing something ethical into your daily life.
  • One more Adele thing... Did anyone see her cover for Rolling Stone? How epic is this?!
  • I am so ready for The Melt Shop to come to Mall of America next year! They're from New York and serve different versions of grilled cheese sandwiches. SO GOOD!
  • How pretty is this wallpaper?!

Happy November! It's hard to believe we're already in the last month of autumn, and because of that, I'd thought I'd share some warmer accessories to help you prepare for the colder season ahead. The funny thing is, we don't really need these yet because we're currently in the 70s! How amazing is that? Better savor it as much as we can, I bet you it'll change in a snap. At least you'll be prepared, and stylish, with any one of these beanies above!
