Happy Monday, lovelies. It's hard to believe it's already the last day of June and we're heading straight into the second month of summer. It's been going too fast, but I'm trying to savor and enjoy these endless days of fun and relaxation. Hope you all are also! Today's links are coming to you from the many things I've clicked on and have been interested in for the past week or so. Trust me, it's going to be very random. ;)

First off, I'm a huge fan of Big Fish Games & Blue Tea Games coming together to collaborate on a fantastic series called, "Dark Parables."  I've talked about this series several times on my blog and Twitter, and you can't understand how excited I was to see they had released their next chapter early! It's called Dark Parables: Ballad of Rapunzel and it's absolute perfection! It's the 7th, yes 7th, game in this collection and I'm in love. The graphics are stunning, the storyline is so interesting and there are tons of throwbacks to the previous games. Not only do you get to play Hidden Object scenes, but you play a Master Detective who gets to hang out with characters from your favorite fairytales. Uhhhh, you can't go wrong there! Go check this game out! You can play a demo of it for free and get a taste of what this has to offer.

I'm starting to sell some clothing that I just can't keep in my closet anymore, and my first #shopmycloset item is a pair boots by Madden Girl. They're size 10 and reasonably priced at $30! Let me know through here or my email if you're at interested!

I can't get this song out of my head. That chorus though!

My city supporting Gay Pride this past weekend by lighting up a main bridge in the flag colors! So lovely.

The Copper Hen in Minneapolis is a new bakery and kitchen that you have to check out if you live locally. It's aesthetic is very warm and inviting and it's décor matches perfectly to the type of food they are serving. I haven't had the chance to go there, but it's at the top of my list of places to check out.

This beautiful feature from Minnesota Monthly that talks about local Twin Cities bloggers that are making a big impact. It's so inspirational and makes me strive to continue to produce quality posts like they do. These are a group of influential ladies that I hope I can someday be apart of.

An interesting article from Levo League that really hit home. Job searching is not fun, and it's especially not fun when you spend almost a year doing it and don't find anything.

This tasty drink sounds like it would be perfect for the upcoming holiday. Thank you, Anthropologie!

Last, but not least, the gorgeous Keira Knightley worked it on so many levels last week! No wonder she's consistently my style icon! Goddess divine is my nickname for her, and I think it fits her quite well.

Always,
Mostly Lisa
Happy weekend! While I should say I'm excited that it's finally here, I'm not as much thrilled for it as I should be. I'll be working all weekend, and switching off with sleeping in and staying off my feet. But..... I gotta get that dough right?! To make it a little more bearable I've decided to round up my favorite looks from the Resort 2015 collections. Nothing like a little high fashion to make the weekend a little brighter. Hope you all enjoy yours. xoxoxox

I'm always on the hunt for a good bargain, who isn't though? You don't have to spend a lot to get a good quality product sometimes, but it's all about how you approach finding that particular item. I'm literally on sites everyday making wish lists here and there for items that catch my eye, and I'm always thinking about what I can afford and what is necessary for me. While the latter is usually not the case for me when I do go shopping, I kind-of binge shop sometimes, it's always nice to be thinking ahead of time for when you can make a unique purchase that will last a long time. I do like to use my discounts I receive from work, and am always trying to boost business at the company in doing so. I have rounded up ten finds that are all under $50, wahoo! It's just a mix bag of anything and everything that has caught my eye lately. And really, what hasn't caught my eye lately? Enjoy!

Yes, yes I know it's a little late to be talking about my inspiration for the month of June but I still wanted to get it out there. It's my favorite month, not only because it's my birthday month, but because it's the start of summer and those lazy and sunny days. People get married, go on vacations, new blockbusters come out and tons of new music can be blasted through our speakers. It's just a great month, and I hope you all have been having a fantastic one.

My want of the week is the absolutely adorable Brazil & Rainforest collection from Gap! Being a current employee for the company, I've been able to work hand-in-hand with this collection and it's so much fun! It ranges from adult all the way to baby, and so it's a really versatile collection and features great prints that are perfect for this season. That toucan dress from the kids section is my absolute favorite and I'm really crossing my fingers that they can translate it into the adult category. I even reached out on Twitter to express this recommendation, and I hope something can come of it. How fun is it? It's just so whimsical, if that's the word you wanted to use. It's also very me, as I'm constantly digging the fruit trend that is popping up this season. What's your favorite item from this collection?

P.S. You can find all of these items in the New Arrivals section for Women, Girls, and Toddler Girl! It's obviously also in the Boys and Toddler Boy sections as well. :)

It's not officially summer yet, but it definitely feels it here in Minnesota. With temperatures climbing, it's also allowing for storms to roll in and cause heavy downpour and gusting winds. What fun! Here I am again talking about the weather, I'm such a Minnesotan. This is literally the topic of almost every first conversation and I find it hilarious. But anyways, this has inspired me to share a few summer outfits that I would love to have in my wardrobe. I'm constantly looking for new clothing and accessories, and so these five outfits are essentially the style I'm aiming for. Number one is my favorite, the pineapple t-shirt is so awesome! Which one is your fave?

Another year, and another year older. Only this time I'm going to be a quarter of a century older. Where did all the time go? Where did my youth go? I'm not going to make a huge reflection on this, but it's just so crazy to think that I'm essentially no longer a kid. While I haven't been for awhile, I just still feel like I'm 21 and about to take on the world. Changing ages shouldn't be such a big issue, but for me it's just about how far I've come personally and professionally. I don't feel I've accomplished everything I wanted to by this age, and all of the expectations I had for myself were only reached about halfway. The career and position that I've dreamt about is so close I can almost touch it, but the opportunity on the other edge of the cliff is plucking my fingers off one by one. I'm just not where I'd like to be, and after trying so hard with college and applying to different positions, I'm burnt out. I have just taken on a new path in my career, it's not what I expected, but I'm hoping that it's the right thing for me to do since all my other options are out the window. I guess I have to let fate lead me where I'm supposed to be and wish for the best. I'll just cross those last few fingers that are teetering on the edge and hope that I can move up quickly in the new position I've accepted. Wish me luck!

Let's change moods, alright? It's my 25th birthday, and I should celebrate and be happy that I'm healthy, have a roof over my head and have people who love me. That's all I can ask for, what really anyone can ask for. My beautiful sister is throwing me a birthday party this weekend, and I'm stoked. It's a surprise location andI don't know who is going to show up. I'm so excited and looking forward to wearing the dress I purchased, which helps transition into the topic of this post! It was on the top of my list, alongside the Kate Spade bag my mother and sister bought me. Strike two off this then, and I will now just dream about the rest. I feel so lucky that I got the two biggest ones I wanted, so huzzah! Look for pictures of the event on Instagram next week! xoxox

Happy Friday! Hope you all have a lovely weekend. So excited it's finally here (again) and the weather is absolutely gorgeous outside. It's the perfect time to mix and concoct some tasty drinks to bring to the party. It's so hot here right now, that really anything fruity is at the top of my list. It's my goal to at least make one of these at home, so check out my IG to see if I can come up with all of the ingredients. Here are 5 cocktails to sip and taste this weekend. Let me know if you try any of them!

A current obsession of mine, especially for summer, is the wavy hairstyle that is easy to perfect. This natural hairstyle can line your face so nicely, and can make for a flirty and feminine look with whatever you're wearing! I have naturally straight hair that sometimes waves out to the side when I cut it, but I always like adding a little wave when I have longer hair. This my dilemma right now, but I'm looking to get a similar hairstyle like the lady in the bottom right picture. I love how it's natural looking and seems fairly easy to maintain. That color too! Hoping to get my hair cut and styled next week just in time for my birthday.

What is your favorite hairstyle of the moment?

Mostly Lisa

Happy June!!! It's my favorite month (hint, hint: BIRTHDAY MONTH) since we get so many good things that happen during it. The weather is slowly creeping up in humidity, thunderstorms are abound. vacations are being planned and there's nothing better than some cleaning around the house. Since I'm always dreaming of the day I can finally own my own place, I figured to start off the month I'd share some home items I'd absolutely die for to have in my humble abode.  My want of the week  is Anthropologie's home collection! It's literally a dream clicking through each section and finding something that pops out, because it's really not that difficult! It's even better when you go into a store and they have their visuals set up, you can imagine your own place being put together the way it is and it's very inspiring. These items above are just some of the things I'd want in my own place. Yes, please. But only until I'm rich and famous, right?!
