December. It brings up warm memories right? Being cozy by the fire, the first snowfall, the biggest holiday of the year filled with lights and music, and anything in between. It can be a hassle for a lot of people, including me, but when I like to be inspiried I think of all the good things that this month can bring. Being with family is a big thing, but I also enjoy seeing pictures like the ones above. This month can be a lot of fun, you just have to search deep to find the true meaning.

I've FINALLY gotten back onto a MAC computer at school and unleashed my Photoshop and Illustrator creative juices. Sure have missed it, because it's so much fun to play around with. This is also for an entry at the ShopRuche Blog, so I'm hoping I can get into that. This is basically for the upcoming Holiday, and how I would style someone with Ruche outfits. They have great vintage pieces, and they're not badly priced. I definitely recommend them.
Well, it's the last Fashion Week for Spring 2012. Paris, France is the destination. I know I'm a little behind in posting a review on it, since it ended awhile ago. I've been busy with school and starting a new job. But, here it is. What can I say? Paris brings out a special something in designers. Each collection for this season was classic, a little avant garde, and nothing short of beautiful. We get Elie Saab, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and several others. So you expect nothing short of amazing from these designers, it's almost like a  'Save the best for last' mantra when it comes to PFW. Here are my favorites!

I've noticed a very big trend for Fall 2011 is the color cranberry. It's literally in everything; nail polish, shoes, bags, etc. Such a gorgeous color like this one, instantly can remind anyone of Autumn. So it's no surprise that it's showing up in practically everything. It's definitely in my wardrobe.
I'm so in love with Autumn, and everything it brings. Especially in Minnesota, when we get Fall, we get it in full force. All of these things just instantly remind me of this season, and it brings warm memories. As I've gotten older, I've become more appreciative that we get this. Colors, sweaters, and comfort food are my all time favorite things. I'm excited to experience these things in the short months we get here.
Milan Fashion Week has been around since 1958, and it never fails to bring about more sophisticated collections. This season was no surprise. The collections that were brought about had basic colors, but with interesting prints. Tons of lace, sequins, stripes, and florals. Feathered and slicked back hair. There were some beautiful pieces.

London Fashion Week is already over with, seems like it went by so fast. I really enjoyed the collections that were brought to our attention. British fashion is so flamboyant, that it can seem a little too out there, but I think that's a really brave thing. British designers take the time to show their creativity, and they're not afraid to put something out there that they really are proud of. I love that about them.
