A Darling Story

January 5, 2014

Hello ladies! Happy Sunday. It's a freezing, yet sunny day here in the Midwest. I am luckily able to stay inside the entire day and not have to worry about getting frostbite! Hope everyone is staying safe and staying warm. I am also staying toasty by dreaming about a brand that I talked about just last month! To refresh your memory, Darling Clothes is a U.K. based clothing brand that started back in 2008 with a vision of representing the quintessential 'English' woman. The clothes are feminine, sweet and super vintage. I had a chance to work with their Spring 2012 line when I interned at Red Light PR. The clothing is luxurious, but affordable. So I wanted to put together three outfits that anyone could wear, but that would be specific for a certain night out or occasion! Hope you enjoy what I picked, and let me know what you think in the comments!

This cute outfit will be great to go shopping with a friend, grabbing a drink, or just going dancing!

This romantic inspired outfit will make anyone's jaw drop when they see you in it.

Shine bright like a diamond in this glitzy and glamorous ensemble that you can wear out on the town.

  1. OMG, what beautiful clothing!! I have never shopped their store but I definitely will have to now! I especially love the Vivienne Coat. Ahhh I'm so glad you shared about them!

That's so cool you got to intern at Red Light PR. How did you like it? Are you still interested in working in PR?

    xo Megan, Lush to Blush

    P.S. I looove your blog aesthetics! <3

    1. Hi Megan! Aren't they just spectacular? I love that they are so truly British, and they also give a feel of sophistication. I hope you can get something from them, they have a good sale going on. Yeah, that coat is pretty special.

It was an absolutely life changing experience for me. I ended up living in New York for two months and was able to live on my own and explore the city. I loved interning there and it really exposed me to the PR industry. I am definitely in the search of finding a job in PR, it's a lot of fun.

Thank you so much for your sweet comment. :D

    1. Hey Ashliegh! Thanks for stopping by.

Aren't they great? I had a blast putting them together and they definitely reflect my style. I am so in love with the Vivienne Coat, it's so fluffy!

I use InDesign, and then I also use a lot of Polyvore when I need specific links to products. Thank you so much for your feedback!

  6. It's freezing here on the east coast too...eeks! I love Darling clothing...such a pretty brand all around. That first set reminds me of a modern Audrey Hepburn outfit. Love it! I would wear any of these in a heartbeat :-)

    1. It's slowly getting better here in the Twin Cities, but I am sure it will everywhere else. So glad I haven't had to leave the house at all, haha. Hope you're staying warm!
