To go on the flipside of my previous post, I thought I'd touch on something that is always fun. Swimsuits. Not just any old swimsuits, but something that has a vintage and retro flair to it. I especially love this swimsuit, photographed in 1953 by Milton Greene. Think swimming in Montauk. You're laying on the beach in a floral, gingham, or plaid checked swimsuit and soaking up the sunrays. Doesn't that sound like heaven? I don't know about you, but I'd rather be anywhere rather than here in Minnesota.
I know what I'll be spending my next paycheck on!

Swimwear is so cute!!! To bad I don't have the body for it. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt really is! I love one pieces, or suits that have a cover up for my legs. I am sure you do though! ;)

Love the retro cut suit, they are hard to find, seems they are always cut super high up the leg. Nice find!

I love that retro suit also. I wish I knew where it was from, I had found it through Polyvore and it didn't include any real link. I know Bettie Paige Clothing has some suits.

I love the floral body con dress! I think florals are a dime a dozen, but it still takes a good eye to pick out the ones that are truly classic.

Dolce & Gabbana can literally do no wrong! Just wish I had over $3,000 for it, haha. I completely agree and I think subtle florals are the best. I don't really like overpowering prints, so I do have to be careful with this one.

You definitely should! I am on the look out for the perfect suit that will fit my body, but I have had no luck yet.
