One of fall’s several guilty pleasures is buying new shoes. While a woman can never have too many, there are only a few basics you'll need for this year. The first one is a loafer or flat, these easy and comfortable shoes are a must have for any wardrobe. You can have classic black loafers, or to add some drama, you can find ones that have studs. These trends that will stay in style and will not break your wallet. Another practical one is the boot,  whose length falls right under the knee. Be on the look out for styles loaded with embellishments. You can wear boots with skirts, skinny jeans, or comfy shorts. There is also nothing wrong with some sexy ankle boots/booties to show off your legs, or to wear underneath jeans or pants. These can be anything you want them to be. Classy, sexy, modern, 60s, etc. Since weekends in the fall are for shopping, you want to also make sure you have comfy, athletic shoes as well. So make sure to pick up some sneakers or walking shoes. These must haves can be fashionable too!

For those who even care, I am back and ready to blog! I have been quite the busy bee lately, see I've been interning in New York at a fashion PR company. It's been thrilling and unreal to say I have been living here, and I have seen so much in such a little amount of time. So I figured I would do a blog while I am staying here. Eight Things in NY, sounds ridiculous doesn't it? Well, since I only have 4 weeks left here in this amazing city, I figured I'd make a list of all the things I still want to do.These things sound like so much fun, and each one has something special. I don't even know if I'll get the chance to do half of them, but I am going to try and live it up and do everything I can.

1. This F/W '12 lookbook from Wolverine 1000 Mile Collection by Samantha Pleet. I have never heard of this company before, but they have been around since 1883 and that's pretty damn impressive. These boots are absolutely gorgeous, and have a real vintage touch to them. The first outfit gives a feeling of Amelia Earhart personified. The second outfit reminds of a safari in Africa, with plenty of khaki and worn leather.

      3. The Diamond Jubilee in England. So exciting, and I just love all things British, so I wish I was there.

     4. This game from Blue Tea Games, called Fabled Legends: The Dark Piper. Gorgeous graphics and an entertaining storyline make it worthwhile.

     5. This whole outfit from Sydney Fashion Week deserves a mention. Seriously, AMAZING!

Such a simple outfit, but I felt really good in it. I liked the mix of different bright colors on the feathers, and then I added the orange tank underneath to make it really stand out. Officially have Spring fever.
