Happy Friday ladies! Today's Fashion Friday comes to you from two different places in the Twin Cities that I explored this week with my BFF! First up, we went to this adorable new cakery and kitchen called The Copper Hen located in Minneapolis! Their whole décor is just so adorable, they have exposed walls with bits and pieces of this lovely wallpaper painted on more pronounced places. I'm all about toile wallpaper and this print is just the ticket. The food is delicious, you can tell it's all homemade and fresh when you order. They even have gluten-free and vegetarian options! Then we headed over to Lake Harriet, which is also in Minneapolis, and took a stroll down the long and winding paths that go around the entire lake. I may have been a bit over dressed but, who cares?! I love this dress that I found on a super sale at Gap several weeks ago, it's just perfectly me. With tropical leaves and flowers, it comes in a gorgeous green and blue combo. I have to say I've NEVER received more compliments on wearing something than I do when I wear this dress. It makes me feel so good, that I just want to keep wearing it. I like pairing it with a shorter cardigan, one of my favorite necklaces from Old Navy, and then a nice pair of flats. Can you believe it though?! I actually wore something that shows leg! I was so proud of myself, haha. I'm definitely now a huge fan of the fit and flare dresses, as I think it's more flattering for my body type and I feel so comfortable in it. What do you guys think?!

My want of the week is the absolutely adorable Brazil & Rainforest collection from Gap! Being a current employee for the company, I've been able to work hand-in-hand with this collection and it's so much fun! My want of the week is the absolutely adorable Brazil & Rainforest collection from Gap! Being a current employee for the company, I've been able to work hand-in-hand with this collection and it's so much fun! It ranges from adult all the way to baby, and so it's a really versatile collection and features great prints that are perfect for this season. That toucan dress from the kids section is my absolute favorite and I'm really crossing my fingers that they can translate it into the adult category. I even reached out on Twitter to express this recommendation, and I hope something can come of it. How fun is it? It's just so whimsical, if that's the word you wanted to use. Since I am a curvy fashion blogger, I am always on the hunt to find the best pair that will be flattering for my figure. While I have my go-to places that consistently have plus sizes, i.e; Old Navy, H&M, Forever21, I like to look at other online destinations that are affordable and have good quality. This outfit today has denim from Old Navy, which are super comfortable and make me feel good while wearing them. Since denim can go with everything, I decided to pair it with something flirty and perfect for spring! This kimono from H&M is a recent purchase and I am absolutely in love with it! It's for sure going to be something I wear a lot this season.
Like I said before, I've wanted to look at other places that have plus size fashion and so I've rounded some of my favorite denim picks from them! Enjoy!

Today's Fashion Friday is all about finding the best pair of denim for your body type. Since I am a curvy fashion blogger, I am always on the hunt to find the best pair that will be flattering for my figure. While I have my go-to places that consistently have plus sizes, i.e; Old Navy, H&M, Forever21, I like to look at other online destinations that are affordable and have good quality. This outfit today has denim from Old Navy, which are super comfortable and make me feel good while wearing them. Since denim can go with everything, I decided to pair it with something flirty and perfect for spring! This kimono from H&M is a recent purchase and I am absolutely in love with it! In my second installment of Fashion Friday, I am bringing out one of my favorite scarves to add a touch of color to my outfit. Again, I hope you can bear with me on the entryway pictures for right now.. It's still freezing outside and I don't have someone to take my pictures for me. Like I said in my last FF, I like adding color in small ways to any outfit I wear. So this perfect scarf from GAP is just enough color to boost whatever you're wearing. The plus side of getting this scarf is that it was literally $2! I do love a great sale. I also like neon that isn't too overpowering, and finding the right color to match your skintone is a must. This green is a great touch for my fare skin and I like putting it over a neutral color like this black top from H&M+. You just want to make sure that your other accessories aren't as bold, so I paired it with this handbag that I got when Jason Wu collaborated with Target. White and black, you can't go wrong. Then I also added a great Rockstar denim from Old Navy that you can literally wear with anything. Hope you enjoy!

She promised great hamburgers from In 'N Out, seeing the Winchester Mystery House, going into San Francisco and seeing the city a total of three times, great Mexican food, good alcohol, and seeing her dog Colin! I was down for everything, and could not wait for the next day to happen.
We ended up going to the Winchester Mystery House, which I have only seen pictures and ghost investigations of it. Seeing it in person, it's outstanding and insanely crazy that it was built in the manner it was. The tour guide we had was kind-of hot, so I made sure to pay a lot of attention. After that we met up with some of her friends and went to a drag show hosted at the California Academy of Sciences. It was the first trip into San Francisco, and we listened to Rilo Kiley/Jenny Lewis the entire time. This song is officially my song of the summer!
So I am a true believe that I brought with me some insanely gorgeous weather. I mean, the sun was out and truly shining while I was there. It made for a perfect second trek out to San Francisco, where we went straight for the Golden Gate Bridge. Sadly, there was a dense fog that only covered the bridge while we were there. I could still see Alcatraz, so that was cool to finally see in person. We also trekked to Pier39 and had some great seafood. So delicious.
