To be honest, I've been lacking all motivation to post lately. There's not been a lot of inspiration hitting me, no new subjects or things have been going on for me to come up with new content. How are you guys doing with posting new things? I hope a lot better than me, and if you can leave me any resources in the comments below on articles or ways to get your inspiration back, please do! Today's simple post is an outfit I'd wear this weekend, if I had any of these things in my wardrobe. May I have all of these, please?!

The upcoming holiday has made me inspired to share some outfits that I think would fit appropriately for it! Not only do they all look comfortable, but they have the added bonus of gorgeous embellishments and sparkling baubles! Whether you happen to be celebrating the religious side, or even just celebrating by spending time with your family I think that any of these can transition well into your weekend plans. All I can think about is being outside in all of these and just enjoying the simple pleasure of the sun. It's quite infectious and always tends to put a smile on my face. So, enjoy some outfit ideas that you can put together for your holiday weekend and for any weekend in your future.
What are your plans for this weekend?! I have to work and then on Sunday I will be spending time with family, going Easter egg hunting with my nephews, eating a good meal and being able to sleep in! Yay!

Hello ladies! Happy Sunday. It's a freezing, yet sunny day here in the Midwest. I am luckily able to stay inside the entire day and not have to worry about getting frostbite! Hope everyone is staying safe and staying warm. I am also staying toasty by dreaming about a brand that I talked about just last month! To refresh your memory, Darling Clothes is a U.K. based clothing brand that started back in 2008 with a vision of representing the quintessential 'English' woman. The clothes are feminine, sweet and super vintage. I had a chance to work with their Spring 2012 line when I interned at Red Light PR. The clothing is luxurious, but affordable. So I wanted to put together three outfits that anyone could wear, but that would be specific for a certain night out or occasion! Hope you enjoy what I picked, and let me know what you think in the comments!

This cute outfit will be great to go shopping with a friend, grabbing a drink, or just going dancing!

This romantic inspired outfit will make anyone's jaw drop when they see you in it.

Happy Monday lovelies! It's been quite an eventful couple days! I graduated from college on Friday and am officially done with my college career. It's so weird saying that, and I really can't believe it's already done and passed. There was so much anticipation, nervousness, stress and so much more that went into this. Now I am done. It's time to put my big girl pants on and hopefully find the job I am meant to be apart of. I am in the works to put together an outfit post of what I wore because I thoroughly enjoyed what I put together for my portfolio show and for graduation. But enough about me and onto the subject I wanted to talk about today.

Holiday parties. We've all been invited to them, and we've either had a lot of fun or a lot of pain putting together the right outfit that will make us stand out against the party crowd. I myself enjoy a great glitter ensemble in whatever color possible, but I also know people enjoy looking relaxed and casual but with a pop of SHAZAM mixed in. I have put together three different outfits, all plus size because that is my target market, that will touch on three different moods. We have the casual yet sophisticated woman, the ritzy woman who enjoys sparkle and the glamorama woman that pulls out all the stops. Which of these three would you be? Let me know in the comments, and I hope you enjoy what I have put together.

Happy Friday everyone! Mostly Lisa is prepping for the weekend by dreaming of the perfect picnic outfit. It's fitting since July is NATIONAL PICNIC MONTH! Did anyone know that? I sure didn't! I am hoping before the month ends I can actually go on a picnic, I haven't been on one since I was a little girl. I definitely think it will be a lot more fun now that I'm an adult because fruity alcoholic drinks will be involved.
So when picking an ensemble for this 'adult' picnic, I instantly thought of wearing a maxi dress! They are just so easy and so comfortable.  It's an instant classic and key piece for your wardrobe. Then you have to have a great pair of sandals underneath that, and these ones from ASOS are so chic. They are a little on the expensive side, $110, but I figure they will last long and be a great transition into fall. I am also really in love with Target's FEED line they have going on right now, and so this bracelet is a nice touch to a relaxed outfit. You of course have to bring your picnic basket with you, this one even has holders for your wine bottles. (YES PLEASE!) Also, since the sun is going to be shining down on you during your perfect picnic, you want to make sure to protect your eyes. Make sure to grab a fab pair of sunglasses on your way out the door.
Hope you all have a great weekend. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy time with someone you love.

Always,
Mostly Lisa

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Oh, 'Merica. When I think of 4th of July, I think: sunny days, barbecuing, wearing sandals, watching fireworks, local parades, eating s'mores, etc. You also can't forget wearing a fabulous outfit that contains one of the three colors of the flag. I always tend to wear blue, since it's my favorite color, but it's fun to mix it up. Here, have an outfit I would absolutely love to wear this year!
Readers, I hope you have a lovely 4th of July! I will be hanging out with family, eating grilled hamburgers and chicken, watching my nephew enjoy everything, listening to some great music, drinking some great beer, and possibly watching fireworks! Let me know what you guys are up to!

Mostly Lisa
