Today's chosen designer in my Designer Spotlight series is a familiar face to Mostly Lisa! Luisa Beccaria is not only one of my current favorite designers, but one that I've been closely watching for the past couple years. The Italian designer mixes elegance and romance so perfectly in her collections, and finds inspiration from several of my favorite fashion eras. One of her most recent collections for Fall 2015 is the best blend of all of those qualities. From the silhouettes, the accessories and even the makeup, it all combines together for an ode to the 1940s!
 From a tidbit on NYMag.com, "Milan-born Beccaria launched her line of sweet, ruffled cocktail dresses in 1979, sticking to ultrafeminine cuts in soft textures. Ignoring trends and sticking to her signature flouncy dresses in frothy tiers and floral prints, Beccaria’s designs remain constant in their romantic vision for women. By far one of my favorite collections for Spring 2015 RTW, Luisa Beccaria put together an effortless collection that was fairy-like with its flowy and embellished garments. I imagine the girl wearing one of these dresses is jetting off to a ball, or special event that will have all eyes on her. The romantic flowers and detailing on most of these dresses is the perfect way to celebrate the season, and I'm loving the chunky heels that go with them. If I could wear any of these dresses, number three and four are at the top of my list! What a beautiful shade of blue, and those decorated bodices? WOWZA! Which dress is your favorite?
