It's been so long, wow! When I first started the Mostly Lisa Holiday Gift Guide series, it was one of the best ideas I had come up with for this blog. It drove me to use my creativity, it urged me to regularly post because I was so proud of what I had made. Now? Now it's mostly inner feelings of everything I've made doesn't even matter in the long run,  that it wouldn't get the attention I thought it deserved no matter how hard I've tried. It takes a lot of work, I'm talking hours and days for me to create all of this on my own. I know, I know, I decided to do this for my blog and that is a task I put upon myself, but still. Endless hours of searching and editing to make something that was a lot of fun in the beginning but has now turned into an ego game. That's not what I'm about, so I had to stop and I'm really glad I did.

The time passed has helped and it's brought a new perspective for me to look at. I'm going to approach this series not so seriously and just do it for fun again. If it gains nothing, if no one sees it - I'll be okay with that because I know that I put my heart into it. Maybe I'll be able to work with some small, local brands and have the ability to give something away because that's what the holidays are all about. So I've decided to try again, and here I am. ❤✨🎄

Let's start with the ladies!

I just stopped to take a look at this list and if this isn't exactly what I want underneath my Christmas tree this year, I don't know what is. There are so many choices this year in terms of how to spoil the enigma that is - her. Whether she's a person who enjoys gaming (gaming headphones, a statement mug) dressing like a J.Crew catalog model (flats, celestial pjs), or being a cozy homebody (sweatshirt, candles) - you'll be able to find something she'll love. Let me know in the comments below what you're getting, or want this year!

Always,
Mostly Lisa

Because who doesn't buy Valentine's Day gifts until the last minute? At this point, I don't really know any other adult who doesn't procrastinate at finding something that their significant other, themselves or even a furry friend will truly love. I am ahead of the game this year as I will be buying something for myself AND something for my very first Valentine! 😍 That being said, I figured I would put together a few items that will be easy to pick up if you're really waiting until the last minute. Enjoy!

A heart-shaped vase that can stand perfectly on its own or be filled with your favorite flowers to create a stunningly sweet home decor piece!

Have him look and feel good with this face wash that invigorates and cleans skin thoroughly.

The idea is in the name from Omi Woods on Etsy, simply choose two types of coins made of Gold Vermeil and you'll be able to put together something super special.

Get a beanie that can keep you warm, be versatile with any outfit and be for both women and men!

Gotta go wireless someday...

A great idea if you're the person who sends snail mail!

Be confident knowing that you'll be purchasing a bra that will be comfortable for her, have a great message and have proceeds donated to a fantastic organization called GirlTrek

This isn't too cheeky, right?
A gift set that will literally feel like a giant hug when you use it. SIGN ME UP!

Seriously though, for whoever needs it!

Wear your heart on your purse, less chance of it getting too badly hurt.

Get that nose un-stuffed and breathe right while making out with that special someone..

Always,
Mostly Lisa

The festivities have begun! The fifth annual Mostly Lisa Gift Guide series is underway and I am so excited to be coming back this year, especially because I was unsure if I would have any motivation to do a week long series again. My life now consists of going to work, doing a tiny of exercise, eating and then going to bed. It's crazy how much the last few months have turned everything around and life is solely focused on work. In the end, I realized I had to put in the time and effort to do this, it is the best series I do on this blog and I love spreading some happiness during what can be a difficult time of year for some people. So know this: I am doing this out of the love in my heart for each and every one of you that reads this blog and shares it with their friends. I am beyond grateful that I can actually do this every year, and to have the support of the people around me and people with whom I have never met before! That's what this season is all about, right?!

In the tradition of this Gift Guide series, on the first day I give to you a guide for the easiest person to shop for during this holiday season - women. I mean, why is it SO easy? I mean, I could probably go to each shopping website and find something to put on this list. Let's be honest, it is more than likely because I'm secretly also shopping for myself, however, I am trying to think outside of the box of my personal tastes and provide you all with a wide variety of gifts that the ladies in your life would enjoy. Whether she enjoys artwork, beauty, fashion, jewelry - this guide is just the ticket. See you tomorrow for the hardest person to shop for - men.
