This year was amazing at the Cannes Film Festival in regards to the fashion. So many dream-like gowns floated down the red carpet, and so I had to share my nine favorites. It was hard to choose which one gal would be number one, but Fan Bingbing did it twice in Marchesa AND Ralph Russo! Yes, please!

Today's post is inspired by tropical getaways, such as Atlantis or the Caribbean. I am ITCHING to go some place super warm, where I can put the sand between my toes and lay back and let the sun etch my skin with rays. Does anybody else feel this way lately?! The weather here in Minnesota has been chaotic, with somewhat decent days that turn into shivering nights. It doesn't make any sense, and it has my allergies flaring up like nobody's business. I guess it just gives me more reason to stay up late at night and research warm places that I wish I could transport to.
I won't be transporting any time soon... literally not until 2017 when I finally go to Disney World with my sister. How sad is that?! There is just no time to save, not enough finances to even begin to save and life just gets in the way. I like planning ahead of time though, it makes it that more exciting once it finally happens. I've been planning the Florida trip, and then an even bigger trip due in 2019 when I turn 30! I thought a big birthday like that calls for a big celebration, so I'm planning on going to Europe by myself and stay in some airbnb's while I travel around London and other major cities! That is something to live for, that is something I can really divest my time and energy into. To say I'm excited, is an understatement!
But back to the present, to where I'm at right now. This outfit, specifically the top from Old Navy, is definitely a way to keep the dream alive! The print is so much fun, and I'm digging the entire tropical theme they have going on for the summer. I thought it would look great with a pair of denim, and with a blazer on top for when you need to go back to work. I've also just realized I'm literally a walking advertisement for Old Navy in this post, so hopefully they'll appreciate that! Well I'm off to daydream and plan some more, so I hope you have a lovely weekend!

The second person in my Insta-Crush series, is a lovely lady who just so happens to be the direct for social media for Ban.do! Her name is Christina Winkelmann, and I've been following her for the past couple months and she's made my feed extra fancy. With bright, neon colors galore on her Instagram feed, it's nothing short of eye opening and I love it! It's a perfect representation of Ban.do too; with quirky products, 80s-inspired sayings and so much more to capture your eye. Christina's got the handle on how to capture the perfect image, is definitely another inspiration to get ideas on what to post about. If you need to put a smile on your face, I highly recommend checking out her feed and following along on her daily adventures! Tell her Mostly Lisa sent you!

By far one of my favorite collections for Spring 2015 RTW, Luisa Beccaria put together an effortless collection that was fairy-like with its flowy and embellished garments. I imagine the girl wearing one of these dresses is jetting off to a ball, or special event that will have all eyes on her. The romantic flowers and detailing on most of these dresses is the perfect way to celebrate the season, and I'm loving the chunky heels that go with them. If I could wear any of these dresses, number three and four are at the top of my list! What a beautiful shade of blue, and those decorated bodices? WOWZA! Which dress is your favorite? Check out my board on Pinterest for all of your Spring 2015 RTW needs, and tell me below!

Happy Monday! The month of May can bring endless possibilities. It's when flowers begin to bloom, the sun shines even brighter and you can begin to feel summer heading your way. There's something romantic about May for me, and I hope it's the same way for you! While I don't have anything planned yet for a vacation, I'm content with being able to stay home and enjoy my surroundings. It's hard to believe Mother's Day has already come and gone, but now I can look forward to my nephew's fourth birthday! What do you have planned for this month?!

The fashion event of the season for me, besides the different award shows, is the Met Gala. I look forward to it every year, especially since over the past few years since more celebrities are going to it. That may or may not be a good thing, but that's up to you. This year's theme, China: Through the Looking Glass, brought out quite a few beautiful looks that played on it to a T. I was a bit disappointed with a few choices from people, but Fan Bingbing is by far the stand out of the night! Once I saw her I thought everyone else could go home, but I had a few other favorites and wanted to share my top eight! So... top eight + some honorable mentions. Enjoy!
