I always find it fun to daydream about what it would be like to have my own place. Being able to decorate it with your own style, it's all yours and you own that. So, I hope, that when I get my own apartment that I can do just that. Anthropologie has a great assortment for House and Home, so these are all the things that I picked out. I love the antique feel that a lot of their products have, so I would want my apartment to have that kind-of feel. Light blues and subtle floral details is what I would want, so the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Someday soon please?

I often like to look to celebrities for style ideas, just because they are pretty much at the forefront of having the accessibility to wear designer clothes. It's fun to see how they style a $2,000+ dress and what kind-of accessories they have with it. I love all these ladies, and I always have a lot of fun trying to guess what they are going to wear to their next event or appearance. Emma W. is by far my favorite style icon and muse at the moment, especially since she's my age and she's really a trendsetter. She's been the face of Burberry and now Lancome, and I've always really enjoyed listening to how she defines style and fashion for herself. We're pretty much on the same wavelength, haha. Even when she's out shopping or at school, she wears really amazing outfits. Rashida and Kirsten are probably the two style icons that I look to the most in regards to casual clothing. They are always rocking really cute accessories; Rashida loves blazers and Kirsten has an amazing set of Chloe flats. My last style icon is Diane, and she really knows how to rock a red carpet, she really loves to take bold choices. Not everyone may agree with what she wears, but she takes risks and I admire that.

The Bahamas. Perfect weather. The sand in your toes. The sun basking on your skin. Doesn't this sound delicious? I dream about sipping on fruity margaritas, while sitting in the bluest of waters, and reading a good book.

I enjoy looking at Net-A-Porter and drooling over all of their fabulous pieces of clothings and accessories. Knowing I will most likely never be able to afford things from Lanvin or Ralph Lauren, I just like to fantasize what it would be like to dress like someone rich. Maybe someday..
I know it's not even Fall yet, but I just stumbled upon this amazing line from Gorman for Winter. I am just plain in love with it. The color choices, the prints, and the accessories all make for a perfect outfit during the cold Winter. Love the layors that are chosen, especially the socks that go over the tights. Remember Claudia from The Baby-Sitters Club? I can picture her wearing this entire collection.

I found with these four designers, each line was lighter and was more modern then their previous Couture shows. Fairy princess dresses in Elie Saab, pleated tulle in Valentino, a pop of red in Giambattista Valli, and purity in Givenchy. Each collection was made with a precision you could only expect from these type of designers.

The 1940s, what an era. Fashion, music, romance, movies, war, industry it all happened during this time and I think that's the reason why it was such an incredible time in history. I often look back at it in regards to the fashion and music, and how it inspired so many people today. You can look at runway shows and see dresses and hairstyles, you can hear music that musicians listen to today. I wonder what it would have been like, but I guess I can try to live through it in things today.
